I am making an Avatar costume for Halloween and I was wondering how you did your loin cloth and the blue thing around your shoulder?

LOL hard to explain, best suggestion would to look for a tutorial on how to make loncloths on youtube. I made mine like a thong and then sewed the flap to the front. The loincloth ties in the back using the two strings that are seen on the side. The "herb pouch" Was made with lycra sewn into a bannana shape and then stuffed. I then hand painted all the dots onto it and sewed the strings that go around my shoulders to each end. I then wrapped some suede around it with beads for the decoration.

The bow or the dagger? The bow was made by a friend and the dagger was hand carved using wood. The handle and blade are seperate peices that are glued together. I suggest you use drift wood for the handle and sand it down, and for the blade use a flat peice of wood and draw the shape onto it. Cut it using a wood cutter and then carefully sand it down either by hand or using an electric sander.
